Kau Hawaii is a large region of the southern portion of the Big Island of Hawaii. It is the home of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This is the location of the active and often flowing Kilauea volcano, a place that tourists will travel to from all over the world. At the south point called Kalae, you will literally be standing on the southernmost tip of the United States. You will find the Kau Desert, whereas to the north, you are going to see coffee farms, Macadamia nut orchards, and places where cattle are raised every day.
It’s also a region where you will see Pahala, a place close to Wood Valley, a location where many artists have originated. Kau is a portion of the Big Island of Hawaii that many people enjoy.
